MECHANIC
Your tasks:
Under the supervision of the Maintenance Superintendent, the primary role of the Mechanic is to perform preventive maintenance and repairs to diesel, electrical, hydraulic and air operated equipment in surface and underground areas.
- Includes mobile equipment, generators, compressors, drills, small tools and miscellaneous equipment of a similar nature.
- Perform diagnostic testing to identify problems and determine the solution to solve the problem. Test repaired equipment for proper performance.
- Must be able to comprehend written and verbal instructions as required to perform his duties in a safe and efficient manner.
Requirements:
- You have completed vocational training as a Mechanic.
- Minimum of 3 years work experience with construction and/or mining equipment in an underground mining environment.
- Ability to multi task and work safely and effectively.
- Follow Company and Client health and safety standards.
- Work in accordance with local legislation
