To strengthen our team in southern Greenland, THYSSEN SCHACHTBAU Mining Services Greenland is looking for a qualified person to start as soon as possible as

ELECTRICIAN

Your tasks:

Under the supervision of the Maintenance Superintendent, the primary role of the Electrician is to install, wire, maintain & perform preventive maintenance and repairs to electric equipment in surface and underground areas.

• Includes mobile equipment, generators, compressors, drills, small tools and miscellaneous equipment of a similar nature.
• PLC and other advanced communication systems.
• High Voltage and Low Voltage Power and control systems.
• Must be able to comprehend written and verbal instructions as required to perform his duties in a safe and efficient manner.

  Requirements:

   

• You have completed vocational training as an Electrician.
• Minimum of 3 years work experience with construction and/or mining equipment in an underground mining environment.
• Ability to multi task and work safely and effectively.
• Follow Company and Client health and safety standards.
• Work in accordance with local legislation

• Work in shift system (night shift included). Schedule 21/21.
