To strengthen our team in southern Greenland, THYSSEN SCHACHTBAU Mining Services Greenland is looking for a qualified person to start as soon as possible as

PROJECT COORDINATOR

Your tasks:

Under the supervision of the Project Superintendent, the primary role of the Project Coordinator is to provide ongoing organizational support to the mining process. This role will include scheduling and allocating resources, meeting production targets and monitoring crew.

• Ownership of the site short term schedule (daily and weekly) that delivers clear, concise and proactive plan.
• Liaise with maintenance to ensure that statutory and routine maintenance tasks are completed on time and ensure that machinery is maintained in line with compliance.
• Ensure production work practices are consistent with procedures.
• Complete required underground inspection to audit and drive mine standards.
• Review, develop and implement the systems, standards and process procedures for continuous improvement.

  Requirements:

   

• Degree or tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering.
• Technical and operational understanding of underground mining operations.
• Good organisational, communication and presentation skills coupled with approachable and motivational qualities.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong computer skills, including the Microsoft office suite.
• Follow Company and Client health and safety standards.
• Work in accordance with local legislation
